Founded in 2011 within the Nanyang Business School, the Insurance Risk and Finance Research Centre (IRFRC) is a premier research institute dedicated to the advancement of insurance and risk management.

Leveraging NTU’s technological prowess, IRFRC focuses on developing innovative models and methodologies to quantify risks. Our work spans critical areas such as cyber risk, longevity, and climate risk, providing the insurance industry and policymakers with the rigorous analysis needed to make informed decisions.
